Wall Mounted Clipboards

I'm absolutely loving this whole idea for a home office from the Decor8 blog. I think it's the combination of the monochrome palette with hints of hot pink and lime green with the use of a classic Eames chair and trestle table, the whole scheme just works perfectly. These clipboards can be picked up fairly easily from most stationery shops or even online at Amazon.

The white Alex drawer storage units on castors are available from Ikea, you can also find similar trestle bases from Ikea. The Vitra Eames DSW Plastic Chair is available in Basic Dark from Utility Design

I'm now going to have to find a corner in the new house to do this. love it, love it, love it!

Skull and Cross Buns

While looking through Not on the high street for pressie ideas, I came across Emily of Skull and Cross Buns who produces fantastic hand carved rubber stamps. They are all made to order and involve quirky images not usually found in your run of the mill craft shops. My favourites are the Little Caravan of Love, Mini Bunting, Mini Moustaches and the simple but adorable Retro Love Stamp.

Cute Tape Measures

I was reading today's post from Jessica at How about Orange about this super cute Panda Tape measure. I instantly thought I want one! I found an ebay seller in Birmingham who sells them for £2. They also sell other animal based tapes such as frogs, pigs and cats. There is also another seller based in Sheffield who sells them here and has a choice of pig, frog, panda, brown bear, blue bear, pink bear and a red bear. So you are really spoilt for choice but the panda is probably the sweetest.

What Royal Wedding?

I don't know whether you've all noticed but their is a lot of talk about a royal wedding. Well after searching the Internet for inspiration I came across these very patriotic decorations on Design Editor. We are visiting friends that weekend in Wells, Somerset and a couple of days ago suggested we have a very British afternoon tea party in their garden. Included in the free download are party invitation, Royal Flags, treat toppers, drinks wraps, crowns and coordinating papers. These printables will go down a treat.

Ingela Arrhenius Nesting Circus Dolls

I noticed these fantastic circus themed nesting dolls in the recent issue of Elle Decoration. They have been created by Swedish Designer, Ingela Arrhenius and each set consists of five figures including the Lion Tamer, Lion and Clown. They are available to buy from a wonderful Scandinavian design website Hus & Hem. These would make a great present for children, in fact they would also make a great gift for adults too. Most people would know the designer for her greeting card designs for Lagom Design.
